James Woodham

James Woodham is an experienced arts & culture journalist with a strong appreciation for UK talent. Working with 9bills, Mixtape Madness and Viper, he has written features, held interviews and helped create talking points around not just established artists, but those breaking into the scene.

In 2023, he co-directed the '9bills Snapshot Stars' list, handpicking artists who would go on to have a huge year including Jordan Adetunji, Proph and Ceebo. He worked on a similar project with Mixtape Madness, covering Odeal, DC and Ashbeck.

9bills went on to be nominated at the Young Music Boss Awards in 2024 for 'Best Digital Platform' and 'Best Publication' in 2025.  In the summer of 2024, James helped produce 'Cloud 9 Sessions' for 9bills, shooting music videos for up and coming talent.

James has also helped deliver chart topping campaigns with Offbeat Group, working on 'Conglomerate' by Lancey Foux, Len and Fimiguerrero, 'Mixtape Pluto' by Future, '$ome $exy $ongs 4 U' by Drake and Partynextdoor and many more.

With a proven track record of being a tastemaker for cult fanbases, James is looking forward to continue working with these artists and helping the UK scene expand.
